Amputate feet instead of having leg lengthening surgery?

It would be cool af to have some robot feet ngl, what if I got my feet amputated and then got robot feet with super long ankles? I could possibly make myself 6’4 and have interchangeable height. Are feet needed for anything anyways? Why is this not common practice

what's the difference between LL though? they have to break your bones no matter what so rather have real feet?

Recovery time would prob be quick and less complications than leg lengthening. And robot feet would be cool af you could have spikes in them and super man grip so you could climb trees with only your feet to prove your strength to stacies
