An annoying thing I don't understand about foids

When a man is rejected by a woman, why do foids laugh and mock the man? All this does is increase hostility towards women, and this creates instances of men raging towards women when they get rejected, the mockery is "training" men the man's nervous to react negatively towards women. If society saw romantic rejection as a causal thing, men would not care about being rejected at all and women wouldn't have anything to fear when rejecting men.
