Only a few groups of them, most weren't that tall, about 173cm on average. The ones you are talking about are probably the UP and Bihar ones, who did measure at around 5,10-6,2 for males and 5,6-5,9 for females. Those guys were exception. The IVC people were the tallest on average in South Asia at 177cm for men and 167-168cm for women.

Yeah what you posted is the general consensus. But I've read that the "original" Dravidians may have been Elamites who migrated to the subcontinent and mixed with the locals. Not confirmed tho afaik
