Sexual dimorphism is a really interesting topic. While I'm not sure about this breed of dog, certain animals like gibbons practice completely monogamous mating patterns which causes them to lack sexual dimorphism. Hypergamous mating practices create a greater difference in the sexes because only most sexually attractive males pass down their genes.
