Here is an interesting article about this Jewish serial killer who was also a honourable member of the Communist Party in the URSS, whose leaders tried to disturb the investigations against him many times.
Andrei Chikatilo, 1978-90. Confessed to killing fifty-five children and teenagers; his non-Russian surname is unmistakably Jewish; see Enc. Jud. sv Gikatila.
Motivations:
Jewish surnames, sounding differently, goes back to one semitic root with one sole meaning – chop, cut, beat, kill – and are telling about their owners’ profession (Reznik, Mogel, Moguilchak, Shoyhet, Shoygu, Shneerson, Beilis, Chikatilo), this points out the clan of jewish pristhood – the servents of the bloody cult, the Chekists, the butchers of cattle in a slaughterhouse.
Chikatilo is a very well known jewish surname, which goes back to the cabbalist Joseph Jikatilo (1248-1325), who wrote the commentary to The Guide For The Perplexed by moses Maimonides.
Andrei Chikatilo (16 October 1936 — 14 February 1994) was a Jewish serial killer, who sexually assaulted, murdered and mutilated at least 52 women and children between 1978 and 1990 in the Russian SFSR. The Jew Chikatilo confessed to a total of 56 murders and was tried for 53 killings in April 1992. He was convicted and sentenced to death for 52 of these murders in October 1992 and subsequently executed in February 1994.
The Jewish serial killer and sexual predator Chikatilo was known as The Rostov Ripper and The Butcher of Rostov because the majority of his murders were committed in the Rostov Oblast of the Russian SFSR.
