This will probably be a hard concept to get through to people, but it's the truth, sadly.

When people here argue based on statistics of what women find most attractive or what gives the most success. The closest thing to the truth is what your instincts tell you.

For example in the height vs face debate, you guys throw stats back and forth on what's more important. Some say its all face, some say a tall guy can outslay the biggest chad face on a manlet. However, I know the reality is that a tall guy who's 4+ can slay and I know this because my instincts have been created through millions of generations of evolutionary pressure to seek and know the truth.

Statistics, Science, Rational Inquiry, are all tools that essentially just justify what humanity had already organically progressed too socially without science. The modern use of rational inquiry and statistics typically are seen as what motivates our current morals and views of the world, but in reality its the opposite. In reality society is based off what is simply the natural progression of judeo-christian values that is now made more progressive from the contributions of new facets of power such as feminism and industrialism, and uses science and statistics to essentially justify and "prove" the legitimacy of its current values, the same way "God" or "Christianity" was used solely to prove and justify values in the medieval era.

The reality is that truth is probably what you feel is the truth. If you genuinely believe and feel that an aspect of the world follows a ertain rational, then that probably is the truth.

So stop coping with statistics on optial mandible angle or shoulder to waist ratio or the importance of height. The truth is what you instictually KNOW is the truth

Well it sounds right so it probably is good thread op

What happen if two people think diffrently
Reminds me of a based philosopher Shankara's quote: Denying something inherently pre-supposes it.

Then they're both correct, but only if they truly and earnestly think what they do.

Ok this thread is ludicrous. Rationality is the pursuit of what works. If what works is right, it is rational. If we accepted what instinctually was felt as the truth there would be literally zero scientific progress.

Rationality is inherently counter intuitive because human cognition is full of bias.

People have different opinions so usage of statistics generalizes an opinion that most closely applies to the largest possible sample size. You have zero clue about how statistics works op

You are missing my point. This isn't some bluepill BS. Your idea of "scientific progress" is exactly what I'm referring to in my original post.

The reason statistics are valuable is because it gives us scientific progress. Also keep in mind that modern human society values scientific progress more than it ever has. Hell, the past few dozen thousand years of human existence out of millions are probably the ONLY time humanity has ever valued scientific progress

How fucking convenient is it then statistics and rationality, which leads to scientific progress, is also considered an infallible guide for what the "Truth" is.

A few thousand years ago you'd be saying "JFL of course the Bible is correct, we'd literally never have salvation for our sins if it wasn't! What sort of low IQ nonsense is this?"

ok I think I got your point. These tools are collected to serve the animalistic gut feeling or whatever and then we use the artificial framework which was supposed to satisfy some purpose and has been met, to then judge what was supposed to be the whole point to bring up the framework which is fallacious and missing the point? Some things are better off not analyzed in the scientific way because it is pointless? Is this what you mean

mofo discovered paradigms and thinks hes a genius.

Your ideas have already been explained better 300 years ago. If you read any introduction to the philosophy of science you will see your own argument and counter arguments.

mostly true and based greycel. but science isn't all bad. it's just that there are way too many retards who think they know something and way too many fuckers with incentives and deep pockets to distort the truth

Unironically true, the older I've gotten the more I've realized this is the case

You've noticed something very valuable, which is true, but on the overall post got the wrong conclusion/the general approach is wrong. The reality is that most studies and statistics regarding attractiveness are just dogshit scientifically. I'm not sure if I read this correct, but "ratios" are not "statistics", but the opposite, they are what you mentioned as instinct, since they can't really be defined rigorously.

Instincts is a cope. it also have alot to do with your past experience. If your closest friend is 5'7 8/10 face and slay everyone in your circle then instincts will tell you face > height. This is just example. You can't use your instincts and think it's a fact lmao that's cringe.
