I have two, the upkeep on snakes is very very minimal. After you buy one, the upkeep costs maybe way under 100$ a year. They only eat about every two weeks.

My neighbors had a parrot and the kids in the neighborhood would teach them all kinds of slangs and bad words, it was so funny
