Anime characters with big blue eyes are the epitome of human beauty

It would be interesting to see if you could sort of bring this type of anime perfection to "reality" via CGI. Videogames kinda do it (at least a few of them) but since graphics are still not there yet, you can go the pre-rendered route. CGI has come to a point where a human can look like this:

Of course I believe the majority of these aren't done with a looksmax mindset. Videogames already suffer an influx of average and ugly looking characters which seem done on purpose, and it's even dryer in full CGI animation which is either a cartoony Pixar/Disney style and barely anything with quality like above. Some games do try to make this unbelievable beautiful characters tho, but like I said, you can see the difference in animation quality

This would also be pointless if they simply decide to scan an actors face which is another annoying trend that's getting popular with this content.

I think I and @AustrianMogger would like to see Violet brought to life with a technique like this. Japs already have tried making films in this style (like the Final Fantasy movies or Gantz) and who knows, maybe that way is the correct form to adapt stories like this instead of going full live action

I thought about the same thing. In terms of aesthetics it would be extremely interesting, but idk if that'd make those shows better tbf.

Every character would look like Orb. I personally like that aesthetic a lot but most people would probably be surprised lol. It'd be difficult to make characters stand out from one another. You can't give them purple eyes or whatever that you can in a cartoon

Depends on the show imo. With stuff like Violet it would work better because it's a pretty grounded show with normal human characters. There's maybe like 3 characters with physical attributes that stand out in an anime way (purple eyes, blueish and greyish hair)

I never watched anime, not even a single episode, but I 100% believe those characters represent the human facial perfection.

There is a theory I saw that said anime characters are actually based off of cats, which would be kinda ironic ngl. Regardless, the following features represent the beauty, for both men and women (in my eyes):

1) Narrow, V-shaped jaws with pointy chins, most common among (East) Asians

2) small noses, most commonly found among Caucasians

3) wide and ideally blue eyes

4) rounded zygos that are MUCH wider than the jaw

5) small-ish foreheads

@AustrianMogger @iloveboobs
you’re right, i feel like narrow chins look more aesthetic like anime. But why do users on here think of it as a bad trait

i think leo rocks a narrow tall chin

Well certain traits are really objective. A reccessed jaw and maxilla will always signal inferiority to someone who has a well projected face (with everything else being the same), because its an indicator of health.

Things like the chin width, shape, nose shape, lips etc. all signal either masculinity or femininity, so they are objective in that sense as well. A pointy chin will always look more neotonous than a wide one. But whether you need to look completely masculine or a bit neotonous is a different question and is completely subjective
