ngl I probably have to stop watching any fictional media with romance in its kind of ruined my perception of love in real life no woman is going to save you (especially all you do is don't go outside and rot on org) or go out of their way if they do usually its unhealthy obsession or they know you for a long time. This isn't them being cold they just don't know you that well or don't care also modern standards for men like height and looks made that harder.

difference is that there are now no standards for how women should look but men are supposed to be chads or else they're invisible
