I watched 2450 hours worth of anime so I feel that I can call myself an animecel.I feel like all the new animes that have been getting released are so generic.I watched so much that I can predict what will happen in most animes, the only unique anime I have watched this past year is probably Cyberpunk or ODD Taxi

A lot of the prominent fantasy stuff is just isekai or dnd campaigns with no real worldbuilding, there’s still stuff like to your eternity and made in abyss tho. Haven’t watched former but apparently it’s just brutal suifuel tragedy after tragedy

Yh same ngl I dropped it there. IMO Made in Abyss was best from 2-4 where they just went from dungeon to dungeon. Nanachi and her flashback was amazing too. The longer arcs just aren’t interesting enough and the writing isn’t there.
