Another day dreaming about school

Sometimes I sleep in the afternoon. And every time I do, I dream about school. Never high school, but fundamental school.

I miss those days when the only worry I had was exams and fitting in. I miss my schoolmates and wonder what they're doing with their lives. If I knew I would miss school this much, I wouldn't have skipped a single day.

And what hurts me the most is knowing that if I could go back with the mentality I have today, it wouldn't be the same because innocence would be lacking. But if I went back with the mentality I had that time, I would commit the same mistakes.

Believe it or not, I was no Chad. Not even a high-tier-normie. But my high school experience could have been a lot better if I knew a couple of things. I will never see most of my schoomates again and the good moments we had are gone forever. Very hard to cope with this reality.
