It doesn’t seem like a good strategy. It would just create a power vacuum; which creates more conflicts/deaths. You see it with the El Chapo gang too, with his sons having one gang, and Ismael’s nephew having one gang. Both will have loyalists. Before that, they were one. So, it’s not really a good strategy in the long run.

The dude looked pretty young, too. No older than 20. No cartel group claimed responsibility for it. I guess that it was too much even for those guys, because one of them said “let him die.” That’s someone showing compassion. In the most darkest way possible, but still.
