True but it was still a total mismatch. I know the skill level gap was huge but Jake literally had zero physical advantages. Smaller fighters are usually faster and have better fitness than the top heavyweights because size slows you down. Jake had none of that. He was way too fat and was totally gassed by the 5th round. For AJ it was like a sparring session. Jake game plan was survive which was a mistake. Height isn't really an advantage in boxing, it's the weight and reach advantage that comes with the height that is the advantage. Basketball is really the only sport where height is a massive factor at the top level, even then I read that 5ft 3 Muggsy played in the NBA for a long time which is insane.
