the reasons why women can have hollow cheeks isn’t obviously just because of how wide projecting or wide theur cheekbones are in which estrogen contributes to, but obviously women tend to store more fat biologically including in the face. Which makes it look more round and estrogen promotes that too. If you have fat in your face it is more difficult to have hollow face

I agree, when women actually develop hollow cheeks later on in life it is because of reduced body fat mainly caused by decreased estrogen and that combined with other older features can make them look more pale and 'skeletic' in a bad way.
Some more mature women actors and etc still look ok with hollow cheeks but most of them had them when young and they have it because of prominent cheekbones and not just because of lowered body fat or other aging features which can still amplified it. But still, it dosent contribute into them looking younger

You’d always find attractive faces with and without hollow cheeks.
Generally though hollow cheeks are more male typical for reasons, that already have been mentioned by others in this thread.

More average looking women benefit from a more cute or neotenous- female typical type of face.
Facial hollowness is a male dimorphic trait and hence doesn’t have the highest appeal towards men on average.
