They destroy your libido and lower erections. So, you're less likely to be sexually active, if you take that poison and you'll be fine with it.

In many cases, I've also witnessed weight gain and a decrease in physical apperance.

Doctors play down these side effects.

Never take this poison.

Yes it’s true but it is a very personal thing. It might not be bad to give it a try but if it doesn’t work after a few weeks either try something else or quit it. Bupropion can also be a good option as it doesn’t cause weight gain and ED generally.

Doctors do not tell you about the side effects. I got them after maybe 20 minutes in the doc room with a 1 minute lecture about the "science" behind it, which stands on shaky ground.

A young mother, who has to care for her children, could benefit from it. But even here it won't solve the underlying issue. But it could in the short term prevent her from suicide or neglecting her children.

For a young, aimless man, it is not the solution. In most cases, the 'depression' a young man feels is justified. The learned helplessness/defeatism is the problem.

That is not a problem for medicine.

Often it is justified, if life is shit no wonder you feel shit about it. But it can be your brain has done chemical imbalances. Eg with dysthymia you will be unable to feel excitement because your positive feelings are capped at some level and you’re basically feeling like a drone all the time even if positive things happen.

Eg I tried a new med I felt scared at one point because I felt a new emotion and that was scary, turns out I was just excited but that was so strange to me I didn’t even recognize it and had to realize it afterwards. Unfortunately the sides were bad so I will try a different option but you can tell it is not normal if your brain can’t feel excitement at all normally.

But it’s not like I disagree with all of what you’re saying. I researched everything myself beforehand and anything I ever took was actually my own suggestion not the psychiatrist. So I already knew all the sides, proper dosing etc. I watched a lot of psych exam prep material so in the end I knew all the options, how they work, what conditions to use, sides, etc. That’s why I felt more ok with it because ik general I am skeptical about many of them.

If you do this don’t act like a smart ass though and still listen to the psych like you value their perspective or they’ll think you’re an idiot who just found nonsense on TikTok

Another thing is I think dosing is often too high for many people. It will increase sides too but that’s often not worth it. You might as well start with the lowest dose option and only increase a bit if it really feels like there would be a benefit.

Weight gain is often a side effect with anti depressants but there are options where it’s not a big problem usually. Eg i mentioned bupropion and sometimes people lose weight with that. This is why normally it is not prescribed if people have an eating disorder history which I had personally but I got it anyway because I discussed this and I understood these things.

any modern drug was created to make you less healthier, if you deny this and say muh but advancements in medicine you are a brainwashed fag

Good. The mentally strong reproduce. The mentally weak SSRI demons seethe. Natural selection.

The weight gain I experienced was minimal and good, as I am naturally very skinny. I lost weight since going off them, but that's also due to other factors.

I don't believe much in the imbalance being an accident of nature. Maybe you have an imbalance, cause not enough reasons for your brain to produce serotonine.

You are certainly not meant to be happy all the time. A modern misunderstanding.

The irony is that they'll increase your dose, if it doesn't work. So mine got high fast.

SSRIs and SNRIs suck, agreed, but there are plenty of AD strategies and drugs that keep your dick function intact or even enhance it(like dopaminergic drugs) and doesn't numb you like a zombie. Just avoid trash serotonin reuptake inhibitors and focus more on dopamine and noradrenaline and other neurotransmitters and receptors. 👍👌 So much more shit you can do than take garbage SRIs lol if you are smart and not letting yourself be cucked by lazy psychiatrists.

Yes not all the time but dysthymia means it is a least a few years. Eg if you are depressed the entirety of high school that’s not very normal.

I agree with the dosing as I explained. You have to basically do all the research yourself or they will push the lazy option which is just more meds and higher doses.

An imbalance is possible. For example, it can also be that the reward system is too easily triggered, so this is why some people get really fat because their brain receives too many happy signals from eating. This is why GLP1 agonists alter dopamine signaling to make it more normal and then people lose weight because their brains don’t want to eat all the time anymore. But the opposite can also be true, when it is too inactive and in that is why SSRIs inhibit the serotonin reuptake in the body and it will become easier to get excited about things. Some of these things we don’t understand fully but that’s the general idea.

Being depressed throughout high school seems normal, if school life sucks.

Even science proves SRIs don't work in majority of cases and often provide poor improvement in symptoms. They are more anti-anxiety drugs than antidepressants. Something good to start with is bupropion a NDRI antidepressant, keeps dick function intact and doesn't cause weight or liable to numb you. Nortriptyline is also great shit. You have stimulants, selegiline, dopamine agonists and partial dopamine agonists etc and more too lol. I think pro-dopamine strategies are more suited for male neurochemistry too, women seem to respond better to serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Granted to access some of these medications you need to "fail" SSRI and SNRI trials often but you can just get them and throw them in a bag and say they didn't work, numbed you, made dick not function and low libido and you find them unacceptable etc. Also "if there is a will there is a way" you can come up with some shit on your own too by research and trial if man enough.

I am speaking generally. Of course if you’re bullied etc and your parents die it’s normal but if you have friends but can never feel excited like them it might be an anomaly in the brain, so I just have this as a general example.

Another dangerous thing I will add as a negative is it can make you more depressed especially initially. They say it’s only teenagers but that’s not always true. So you have to be careful about this and be aware when you’re browsing ropes on Amazon.

Fuck SRIs, they are cucked drugs for cucks, never helped me either + limp dick. Never touching anything that impairs my function and performance as total stud.

School is an indoctrination center prison. Even if you have 'friends', it's gonna be bad.
Plus, past a certain age, many people are no longer meant to be in school. In the old days, many left at 14.
