Core Principles
Gradual progression: The anal sphincter is a muscle. Sudden large insertions cause injury. Progress over weeks/months, not hours or days. (So don't overdo it)
Relaxation and arousal: Tension makes everything harder and riskier. relaxation techniques (breathing, warm baths), and arousal help
Lubrication: Use thick, long-lasting lube (silicone or hybrid preferred for anal avoid water-based as it dries fast). Reapply often. Never use numbing creams long-term... they mask pain signals that protect you!
Hygiene: Clean toys with toy cleaner or mild soap. Shower before/after. Use barriers (condoms on toys!) if concerned about bacteria. Empty bowels beforehand if possible but don't force it
Listen to your body: Mild discomfort or "full" sensation is common during training. Sharp pain, burning, or resistance means stop and go smaller/slower
Basic Training Progression
Start small
Begin with a well-lubricated finger (pinkie or index) or a very small beginner plug (0.75–1 inch diameter)
Hold for 10–20 minutes while relaxed. Focus on breathing and gentle in/out movements
Do this several times per week
Build up size slowly
Increase diameter by small increments (0.25–0.5 cm / 0.1–0.2 inches at a time) only when the current size feels comfortable for 20–30+ minutes with easy movement
Common tools:
Graduated anal plug sets (silicone, with flared base for safety!)
Tapered dildos or training kits designed for this purpose
Some use inflatable plugs for controlled gradual stretch!
Advanced techniques (higher risk)
Larger toys, fists!, or extreme sizes require months/years of consistent training and excellent technique.
"Training" often involves wearing progressively larger plugs for extended periods (hours), but never sleep with anything inserted unless specifically designed for it and after extensive experience.
Combine with gentle manual stretching (clean, lubed fingers) once comfortable with toys!
EXRA INFO THAT YOU NEED TO READ!
Warm up with smaller sizes every session.
Use plenty of lube and reapply — "too much lube" is rarely a problem
Positions: On all fours, lying on side, or squatting can help with control and relaxation
Relaxation aids: Warm baths, gentle massage around the area, mindfulness, or porn/erotica if it helps arousal
Aftercare: Gentle cleaning, soothing creams (like those for hemorrhoids if minor irritation), and rest days
Track progress: Keep notes on sizes, time held, and comfort level
Common Risks
Tears/fissures: Sharp pain + bleeding. Heal with fiber, stool softeners, sitz baths.. see doctor if persistent.
Sphincter damage: Can lead to leakage or reduced control.. this is not easily reversible
Infection: From poor hygiene or microtears
Prolapse or other issues: Rare with sensible training, more common with extreme or rapid stretching
Never use household objects without a proper flared base they can get lost inside
