Any American surgeons do surgery first?

my bite is fine, I had braces earlier in life and I have well aligned, straight teeth. I don't think I'll need braces before my surgery as it's only for sleep apnea. anyone know if gunson, relle, or antipov do surgery first?

Why would you want surgery first?

Either way you’re spending a roughly equivalent time in braces. I suppose that the brace period overlaps with the swelling period so you lose slightly less of your life, is that the main motivator?

Braces after is quicker apparently because teeth move faster to right position due to increased swelling and blood flow after surgery
