Im in a very similar boat. Originally I wanted to do radiology, but the AI risk is too real and opening your own office is maybe not too feasible.he’s a radiologist
Idrk what I wanna do I just don’t wanna be a pediatrician or internal medicine, I’m a fan of plastic surgery and dermatology obv but I also like reading xrays with my dad so idk
I took a semester off for research, but now I'm almost in the final year. I'm not in the US but in Europe though. What do u wanna specialize in
Also what year are u
Is he a doctor now?Surely this guy @RealSurgerymax![]()
Yes, the AI risk is real in radiology. My dad and current radiologists are better than the most advanced AIs overall right now, but AIs are better at specific functions. That’s why I’m interested in surgery and derm, but surgery especially because I feel as if I can change more peoples’ lives for the better.Im in a very similar boat. Specialties I've been eyeing now are:
Derm
Plastics
Ophthalmology
Gastro
They all have pros and cons, but I'm really not sure what to go with.
