Any experience with HCTZ?

Sorry for bringing this shit up again, but my graduation ceremony is in two days and i need to debloat asap. Everyone on bodybuilding forums and the redditfags told me i was gonna die if i take furosemide, so I've been considering Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) as an alternative. From what I've read, it's supposedly safer, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with it. Thanks
