Any experts on EU customs relations and laws on ordering stuff from countries within the EU customs union here? LAWYERCELS GTFIH (Any help please)

Main thing I need to know is how much of anything can I order from another country that is within the EU customs union before let's say the government tries to condemn me of "tax evasion", "illegal sales, black market sales without a registered company" or something like that. The thing is, I could walk into a local store in my country at any time and buy 200 chairs (just an example) even if I'm not an owner of a company, correct?

But, I am curious, if it would be possible to I don't know, order the same 200 chairs from another EU country that has lower taxes and generally lower prices and declare them as for "personal use"? As long as I am using them all and not reselling them, I won't have any legal trouble right?
