Yes for some anime that's true. But anime like Death Note are never considered cringe. Unlike other anime where you have those "funny typical anime" scenes, in Death Note those "funny typical anime" scenes are nonexistent. The series has a very serious topic and it's something that even adults enjoy.

Death Note is the best anime I watched tbh. Amazing story, amazing characters (fuck that blonde foid though she was annoying), amazing plot, pretty much amazing everything ngl. After Death Note I would say that Attack on Titan is the best.
