I need to learn how to take mogger photos for tinder and social media. I know fuck all about it rn. I have to buy a new phone soon will a decent phone with a stand work just as good as a photographer could do?

You don't need professional pictures, you will look tryhard. To look good in pictures I would just try a lot of angles and see what works the best - make sure to get a lot of different environments when posting or social media/tinder, it could be parties, beaches, even mirror selfies if they don't look out of context (aka basement pics)
