I'm 30 years old and have recessed jaw . I've just started orthodontic treatment for the second time
My surgeon told me that I won't be able to have BIMAX + genio surgery with CCW rotation for another 1 to 2.5 years, depending on the treatment plan, since I'm only at the beginning of the process.
I also regret not having the surgery when I was 20. The sad part is that my orthodontist never even told me that surgery was an option, so I didn't know it was something I could consider.
In the meantime, I've been thinking about getting implants. What would you recommend in my case marpe or something? Unfortunately, my side profile looks really bad.
Do you think my face can be significantly improved? Is it possible to achieve a good result in my case?
