Any ideas that could help with muscle asymmetry?

I previously mentioned that I have pectus excavatum, but since it doesn't affect my health, I most likely won't get surgery anytime soon. However, building muscle could help make it less noticeable. Especially the shoulders, chest, and back could make it look like less of a disadvantage.

But during my last visit, the doctor also pointed out that my left pectoral muscle is larger than my right. Although I don't really feel any difference when using machines.

What would help me the most? Are there any specific things I should focus on, or are there any specific nuances? Or is the only thing I can really do just keep training?

TLDR: My left chest muscle is bigger than right

Wow, tell me about your case. Did gaining muscle improve it?

On one hand, it's a good thing that I don't have any health issues, but if I did, I could have gotten medical help

i am still pretty light weight but yea hopping on soon, when i was really skinny thats when my traps and shoulders were uneven and they just fixed themselves with training, mine is pretty bad tho visually even thought i dont have any problems so i will probably be getting surgery

yea insurance can cover it in most places if its causing health problems but the recovery is absolutely brutal, thats the only reason why i am skeptical about surgery

I want to get surgery as well, but I'm only 18, and I can't really do that while I'm living with my parents. I've seen people hide it pretty well by building their chest muscles, but the main thing is fixing the asymmetry first

My friend had surgery, but it's still noticeable even after it.

By the way, there are also some gymnastic exercises for this. Have you tried anything? I know it obviously won't completely fix the situation, but still maybe it can help

i did it when i was a kid but it doesnt do anything really, you can use a vacuum bell or something if you are young and its light but i was already pretty mature by the time i started so it cant really shape and change the structure of the bone
