Why would they? Women should weigh 160 lbs , but a full grown man almost 6 ft should be lean and 200 lbs. You wouldn't be overly muscular either.

Here is an example. 5'10 wrestler, he is 210 lbs. Why would any man weigh less than 200 lbs? Unless he's really short.

I'm surprised. I am only 5'10.5 and at 185 lbs I would look completely jacked. I don't know why someone at your height would be below 230 lbs.

I think 200 would be the best for me if I stay lean. That’s almost 15 pounds more and I’m at a good body fat level.

Women don't like muscular men.

At 6'4 I feel like you could be lean at 230 lbs. When I was 220 lbs I was almost lean and I'm only 5'10

You're good. Better to not get fat.

But consider doing more squats if you don't squat much.

It's not possible for most 6'4" guys to get anywhere near 200 lbs if they are lean, without resorting to illegal and dangerous drugs. 6'4" is not the biological equivalent of short guys scaled up, just like a human is not the biological equivalent of an ant scaled up.

The human body can only support so much muscle mass before you start having heart problems and organ problems, regardless of height.

I see you chose a shirt picture of him. Dude's fat!!!! You're advising people to become fat disgusting fucks. Lean and muscular at a more reasonable weight is better.

This is detached from reality. No 5’10 man is 200lbs while lean naturally

He's not fat, and that's also an older picture. In the picture w/o shirt he isn't fat either. He's around 15% which is considered lean and athletic.

I kinda think the opposite. I don't think any man has much business weighing 200+ unless he's over 6 feet tall and a very dedicated gymcel. It's just not possible to remain lean at this high a body weight for most sub-6' men.

Exceptions would be those pursuing athletic (or niche personal) goals requiring a high BMI and the rare genetic freak gymcel who is capable of weighing a bit over 200 while remaining lean at a low height (like George Hackenschmidt).

15% is considered lean and athletic by American Council on Exercise (ACE), with out ANY supporting data. The data that does exist indicates significantly less than 15% is optimal for health for men but, this "15% lean and athletic" claim has spread throughout the entire internet, including webmd and wikipedia because that's how propaganda works. It can all be sourced back to ACE if you take the time to follow leads.

Who funds ACE? Ask yourself, who's invested in keeping people fat?

I can't speak for ACE's funding specifically, but Coca Cola fund's non profits like this, as well as scientists, and other initiatives that push the narrative focus away from calories and nutrition and towards exercise.

You don't even need to trust the gluttony of news outlets that have reported this you can see directly on Coke's website that they are pushing this narrative. Like a magic trick, the most successful propaganda campaigns are about redirecting your focus.

And this narrative being pushed through the slimy crevices of the internet and the corporate fueled media machine, works and continues to work, as Americans especially continue to get fatter and fatter.

There are two types of propaganda that I am aware of. One is investors that pay a media management corporation, which pays the media to cover specific topics and stories to push the price up or down, so that the big investors can buy or sell. There's separate media management companies for paying influencers. The other is corporations and governments that pay non profits that push messages that align with their political or financial aims. The information then spreads to every single website on the internet, including wikipedia and if it's health related webmd, and even random hospital websites, as well as news articles. Non profits are how they control the long term narrative.

You think this stuff (above), went away with the internet because it didn't, it went into hyper drive. If you want to understand what's healthy, read actual scientific studies and interpret the results (don't just read the summaries). If you want to understand what's attractive look at what the male porn stars most searched by women (porn hubs annual report), and look at the male actors in the highest grossing romance, and erotic movies aimed towards women. I can tell you that none of of these men are at 15%, unless we're talking about Bollywood. So yah, if if you want to attract Indian women, in India, then fine stay at 15%, otherwise you are doing yourself a disservice, both in your health, your risk of disease and death, and for your dating life.
