A lot of the concepts taught are archaic and old. Just getting a degree isn't going to get you a job but if you are willing to put in the work, build a portfolio and grind it's still one of the highest paying majors and best employable majors by far. Tasks that required senior engineers to spend days calculating routing paths are completed by the AI in minutes but still electrical engineers are getting hired so are software developers. AI is something that needs to be embraced. There's no point fighting it, no point arguing with it. Embrace for what it is and learn to harness the power.

You are assuming the people who complain about not being able to find a job are lazy and do the bare minimum when that's not the case. People with portfolios who have done as much as they could are still struggling because entry level tech jobs are almost dead now unless you have connections to someone in the industry. It's total bullshit, i absolutely despise A.I. Computers/tech is the only thing i am somewhat good at and what i envisioned my future would be but now it's over. It's impossible to do anything, i can't even get a degree, i wanted to self study, get certs, learn a few languages/skills and try to get my foot in but i stopped caring or even trying because i know it's a waste of time.
