Actualy you are. Look at the studies that mesure fluid IQ. After 22 its slowly downhill. The decline speeds up after 30. What happens is people learn skills and get good at what they do ao dont notice the decline so much. But when it comes to solving novel problems they get dumber very early. Its why Einstein said if you never contributed to science until age 30 you never will. Creativity also declines early.
