I was allowed to go out whenever I wanted but I still feel I was raised pretty sheltered

Idk, my parents pushed me to make friends and go to events but i guess i sheltered myself

Not really. I suffered from child-abuse, poverty and neglect. But the upside of that was that my parents cared so little about me that I could do whatever I want (outside of activities/hobbies I was forced to do to please them, and outside of the fact I needed to study 8 hours a day to please them, and outside of anything that costed money).

But outside of that, I was allowed to stay out late at night and stuff u know.
