Any one else unable to focus on school whatsoever?

This whole semester has been a joke, I'm failing 2 of my classes and doing OK on the other 2, but I haven't retained any information from anything, I only study the night before a test but then forget it all. Swear im gonna graduate knowing nothing at this point

How do you find any motivation. Legit i wanna change my major or take a year off, my brain can't cope with the expectations coupled with the loneliness and depression, there's no point paying for classes if u can't focus

when i was in college i did the same thing. i cared more about my individual studies outside of the classroom. i also got drunk a lot but didn't actually fail any courses. i plan on doing the same when i go to grad school

Once I became blackpilled (one year ago exactly) I no longer was able to focus on school, 2 and a half semesters in I passed my classes but barely learned anything, just did enough to get by...

I mean classes suck right now because they are too easy, I'm not learning anything new yet so I'm not enjoying college yet but I have my own projects at home which is worthwhile to wake up to.

It’s because your reward system is fucked. Your brain doesn’t see the end of the tunnel as worth it, so it doesn’t wanna do the mundane work to reach the end of that tunnel.

Maybe it’s a sign you’re in the wrong place/major.

If there was something you were decently interested in at the end of the tunnel - maybe the journey would be more enjoyable.

I’m usually always on stims and stay up around 20hrs a day recently. I’ll probbaly crash hard when I stop them but it’s been helping with school a ton.

yeah i know what you mean. it also has a lot to do with the teaching style imo because looking at someone talk in front of powerpoint slides is boring as hell. not to mention how many classes you need to take as a requirement even if you aren't interested in them. i don't think most people come out of undergrad actually having learned much tbh

I think this here is why graduate school is when the real learning happens since everything is focused on what you're interested in. I'm more excited about going than anything else in my life atm

I'm in the wrong place cuz I'm still at my parents' house and am a fucking loser. Tbh I think my major is very good but I'm just losing interest in everything and I'm interested in a career path completely unrelated to it at this point

The worst is having absolute trash teachers and having to learn all the shit by yourself at home while having borderline ADD. You can't do anything about it unless you get study drugs or tutors 24/7.

I swear these professors make me wanna kill myself. Reading off of slides, barely explaining shit and somehow expecting you to know what they talk about when they go off on tangents

Pursue the career path that interests you more. It will make the years leading up to your work more fulfilling and happy. You will feel like you’re working towards something positive.

Your current major may make more money. But at the end of the day, difference between 100k and 150k is that at 150k you pay more taxes and most likely have a slightly higher living cost..but as a blackpilled person you realize that shit doesn’t really matter. Brand new Audi or 6 year old Audi doesn’t fucking make a difference.

Being happy in your job (that you spend tons of time doing) is what will make you happier. And plus if you’re good at it, you may end up making more money than you would at a higher paying major that you suck at.

All my life I couldn't concentrate when it came to education, even for topics I was really interested in.
I get so stressed out if I want to start to study and even right now, the memory stressed me hard.
Probably the reason I started to get grey hair at only 14 years old.
