Any other curries here whose parents don't mind them marrying non-curry

My parents have always been upfront and said I can marry whoever I want as long as they're Muslim. My parents are traditional and conservative so it quite surprised me. Because my other curry parents will never allow their children to marry non-curry. Little do they know, curries are fucked in the West. Anyone else share similar situation?

However I should mention they would no way let my sister do the same. Males usually get preferential treatment from parents compared to daughters JFL.
