Primo gets glorified a lot because it can add lean muscle while making you look harder, drier and more vascular without much water retention. It also has a reputation for being one of the more tolerable steroids. It was even used medically in women and children, and one old breast cancer study had women using around 400–1,200 mg per week. Obviously that doesn’t mean it was completely safe, but it does show why Primo got the reputation it has.

My main issue is the androgenic side effects, especially hair loss. From a looksmaxxing perspective, is the cosmetic benefit really worth that risk? I can see how test + Primo could make someone with a softer or more effeminate look appear harder and more masculine and can potentially be a looksmax for them.

Masteron makes even less sense to me since it seems like it’s mostly used for the dry/hard look rather than actually building much muscle. If you’re already lean, wouldn’t something like Winstrol give a much more noticeable cosmetic effect anyway?

A steroid that gets compared to primo is
EQ but it seems different since it’s more about slow lean gains and vascularity than looking dry or hard. But it can raise hematocrit a lot and stays in your system forever, so I don’t really understand why you’d choose it over Primo either.

So what am I missing? What actually makes Primo, Mast or EQ worth adding instead of just running test?

In my view primobolan and test would work really well for someone that is trying to recomp, and I like this more than EQ because it won’t be as bad on ur blood work while giving an amplification to the testosterone - I find it worth adding if the cycle is around 16 weeks.

I dont think primobolan can cause hairloss in 16 weeks unless ur blasting 1000mgs… but for peace of mind RU wouldnt be a bad addon for hair

Some people tolerate DHT derivatives better than others, but the general public only uses them if they have the money to manage any side effects or don't care about it in general
