Any repercussions on getting a chin implant or is bimax worth?

I don’t want to get bimax because its a crazy surgery ,!so i was thinking a chin implant but Ive heard it can reject and that doesn’t sound fun but neither does a swollen bimaxxed face and also im 18 so does it mean i need to get braces too like ahh hell nah.
