not really, it’s good if you don’t wanna do skin bleaching and just want a temporary fix
if you do then opt for hydroquinone (it’s a topical cream) and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH

Use azelaic acid 20% for de tanning ur skin no sides and works pretty well if u want smth better hydroquinone 4% but it got sides
