My grandfather and his cousin served in WW2 as soldiers under the British as Pakistan was still a colony at the time. After the war, my grandfather became a policeman. In my family, we still have soldiers and policemen, some even being part of the elite policemen, who are soldier-like police officers, usually sent to eliminate terrorists.

Insane how my grandfather fought a World War and the only thing I’ve done is rot and be a 29 year old dateless KHHV. I am a disgrace. :feelswah:

Yeah, that’s true. But I’ve not accomplished anything in my life to be proud of, unlike those whom I descend from.

I see, are you Gujarati? What kind of Gujarati exactly? Because some Gujaratis actually originate from modern-day Pakistan, in Sindh to be precise.

Imperial Japan is more disgusting than any other given how modern day Japanese are proud of what they did

Not a Gujarati really, but back in those days they didnt mind marrying from different places in my family. If I remember correctly, my great grandmother was from Kerala. It was mainly because of being a Railway employee was a bit common for family members

My great-great-grandfather’s brother, on my father’s side, was a Spitfire pilot for the British. He later settled in the UK and was among the earliest immigrants from India.
