Big bill, beautiful bill, best bill in the world, presidents from many countries called to praise it, they said they never saw such an amazing bill before...

I wanted to lock-in gains just before the tariff-war, but I was like: 'nah long-term it's best to just stay in the market so just let it ride'

destroyed me completely, but I cant blame myself for this strategy. gotta keep going.

Lately really been working on separating myself from my investment success/failure so that the swings don't affect me as much anymore.
For example one thing I used to do is save as much money as possible so I can invest as much money as possible. But that really coupled my emotional state to my investment-portfolio.

Now I just let my investments ride and keep any money I am -saving- besides those investments, in 'safe' ETFs which I am free to sell and spend however I want emotionally/mentally.

The emotional/mental tax of active investing requires coping strategies.

The game rn is just so fucking unpredictable

Pure long game is BS

Once something hits its 52 week high, you gotta cash at least some of it out to prep for a downswing

You just gotta

I got burned too

Fucking tariff shock changed me forever

As of right now, Elon is still talking about how the bill is going to explode America's deficit on Twitter. People cannot be surprised if there is to be a split within the Republican party just becuase of Trump and Elons view's over this bill (and other policy making decisions such as how to deal with Iran), some individuals can try and look over these misfortunes for the Republican party, but reality never likes to hide itself from the public.

If MAGA (the working-class part of MAGA) truly cares about non-intervention and trying to focus on internal affairs such as the deficit, homeless people on the streets, dealing with illegal aliens, etc, within America, then they may go on to side with Elon. Mark my word's, this will come back to bite the Republican party in the butt come 2026, and that's because a divided party cannot stand.

tarrifwar lost me 80% of my portfolio due to how leveraged I was.

But in my mind, I just need '3 good years' in a row with this heavy-leverage strategy, without heavy-drops, and I could be a millionaire.
I am willing to risk it all ngl.

I need to escape this system.

Elon will split the party alright :cop:
He has to know he'll just guarantee a Dem win :feelsgood:
It'll be Blue vs MAGA vs TSLA :kys:

I totally didn't see this coming
I didn't think Republicans would just blatantly fuck everyone over barely half a year into the presidency :feelsautistic:

And that's what a lot of people who are a part of MAGA are starting to say. Nobody wants America to be bombing Iran, Trump himself even promised isolatism when he was campaigning for the presidency, an end to the war's, a stable economy, to unite the country, etc, but the working-class hasn't seen any of that stuff so far. What the people need is a party (not the DNC nor the GOP) that will be led by the people and is for the people, only once that has achieved will real progress begin.

At this point attempting to constrain federal government spending is pointless. The US will default on it's debt sometime in the next 7 years. No degree of austerity that could conceivably pass Congress would prevent that. Austerity would only accomplish a delay of a few years. As it is with this Bill the US will probably default on it's debt in 3-5 years. <shrug>.

After the default the US Treasury will print trillions to discharge the debt. Probably the Trillion Dollar coin senario I described below. Thereafter no one will buy US treasuries and the US will have to pass budgets within it's means, or further devalue the dollar in real time.
