Currently i do because i had a crossbite due to crooked teeth and i got braces, right now i have an underbite on one side of my teeth. They aren’t currently aligned

Your priority should be to get that sorted then, and then you should do filler or consider implants. See how far orthodontics can take you before you consider surgery.

I dont even know how to explain this to them. Currently the current treatment ment plan is to bring my underbite backwards to align my teeth. Am hoesntly terrified because am going to be purposely recessed

Well, there are other ways, but you need to talk to your ortho. There are appliances you can still use if you're young enough for them to work.
