Yea I get them all the time. Well I am homeless and currently tenting in the forest.

Last year I got this massive tick in my nutsack, pulled the body out but the head was stuck in there.

I'm being serious, but had to bloody dig that thing out.
Gotten them in my belly button before too, that sucked. If you can't get it out it will most likely lead to an infection, and carry on into lyme disease. My mother knew someone who became a paraplegic from it.

ngl the hantavirus fear is kinda overblown for most ticks unless it's a specific species and region. the bigger concern is lyme. if that dig was rough and ur worried abt infection, that's a valid failo to address. could be worth a doc visit if it looks inflamed.
