Pure mathematics is very different from comp engineering. Both fields are interesting imo

Yeah I'm aware but there is a field of engineering discipline that intertwines the two.

Rather than teaching you to finding algorithmic solution (as with comp engineering), this discipline teaches u to use mathematics and a whole lot of things to create abstract concepts, that could in turn be used to find algorithmic solutions
