Anyone actually do LL at 5’9 and above?

I keep reading the heuristic that 5’9 - 5’11 is roughly the same amongst perception.

Assuming one is conservative and only wants to lengthen the acceptable 3’ max, does going from 5’9 to 5’11 truly feel night and day?

Also - would wearing lifts after LL fuck up your body even more?

im 5'9 myself, and wear shoes that lift me to just an inch under 6'0. i would say that i wouldnt do it personally. so much money for something you cna easily achieve with lifts or platforms

The difference between 5’9 +3’ = 6’ + wearing shoes and lifts will be drastic. Quite literally the step of going from average to tall.

LL is just frowned upon due to people coping with height when it’s their face that’s the #1 issue

I do the same and feel like not worth it when I’m on the lifts.

However it would feel very nice to wear normal shoes and be comfortable and still be ~5’11/ 6’.

Even better, being 5’11 then frauding to 6’1 with lifts. That being said, lifts and LL are both bad for your body long term. I feel like to kind of have to choose one or the other, lest you treat your body and long term recovery like shit.

True 6’ barefoot HTN vs 5’9 HTN is a big difference if you ask me. You just have to weigh the value of LL cost in comparison towards investing in any other issues you have with ur face.

The better looking you are, the more vaule you'll get out of the LL. So if you're HTN, the halo increase would be significantly more noticable and worth it than for someone who's MTN or lower. And if you ask me, a 2-3 inch difference is pretty noticable.

When it comes to the recovery process and how long I am crippled, however, I am wondering how much that will burden my income generation.

The nature of my work requires lots of meetings and leadership (in person and zoom) so I’m unsure how long I’d be “out of commission” and losing income potential.

I may need therapy tbh. The rationale here is that at 5'9 with ~HTN face, life really isn't bad (sex, respect, etc). However, I know I would be winning at a higher margin at 5'11. And that extra margin on the table is what is bugging me.

if ur really htn then you can get girls at any height tbh. i didn’t say good looking girls tho so don’t bring up “what if ur 5’4”. but at 5’9, you’ll be fine. in real life i have mtn (and even lower) friends who are sub 5’9 and still somewhat slaying

well in my honest opinion, if ur 5’11 htn you can get HTBs which i believe are top decile women. just height fraud, it’s 2 inches, and im speaking from anecdotal experience i have a few sub htn friends at 6’ 6’1 who pulled borderline HTB
