you have long term depression from being a retarded kid and mistake it for being a psycho

Yes I know what that’s like, it’s so hard for me but the past few years I try to get better at it. I watch sad things or listen to sad music to make it easier. Inside I already feel lots more real compared to in the post even if I can’t always cry but I noticed finally I feel more like a real human with feelings. It was difficult because I just instinctively blocked everything for years not just crying but anything emotional. I think it’s just a defense mechanism of the brain but it is scary when you realize you can’t be a real person any more after so many years of that. Also I have a psychologist and in general I decided to just be myself and say things how I feel them. I think normal people do this much earlier on in life but I just never did it so I didn’t know what normal feelings even were like, including happy ones. Another thing is if you have autism usually people have issues because of alexithymia which basically means you don’t really understand feelings correctly. For example maybe you notice you feel something in your stomach but actually it could be fear or even something good but you just feel the physical thing so it’s not a real emotion to you. I thought that sucks then you’re basically lost but actually I just started paying attention to this more and now I feel like it comes to me naturally much better so it seems you can actually learn it and feel more normal not like a robot. So maybe this doesn’t make much sense what I’m sharing but that’s my experience.

Yeah i was pretty much the same always supressing it apart from a few ocassions when i had to i guess its like a defense mechanism that now has built up and is hard to break

I only cry because of rejection, nothing else phases me or makes me cry.
