no matter what i wear, it embarrasses me. i wear the most basic stuff 99% of english kids wear and i will go out dripping with sweat out of embarrassment.. and then i will try to dress somewhat nicely and become even more embarrassed…. i literally own the most basic clothes but i have never not been embarrassed over what i am wearing. having to pick my own clothes for college was the most stressful thing ever and i think i wouldn’t have dropped out if it had a school uniform like highschool did

brands = embarrassing
no brands = embarrassing
clothes that aren’t black = embarrassing
shoes = embarrassing
socks = embarrassing
t shirts = embarrassing
sweaters =embarrassing
hoodies = embarrassing
polos = embarrassing

pointless post

If you're ugly just wear non-descript clothes with no brands most ugly people wear stuff like that. Or graphic tees from walmart

Don't wear visibly branded clothes, it's faggy. Dress plainly and modestly. Go to a thrift store and find a few decent, well-fitting pairs of cotton slacks and jeans. Make sure the pants are somewhat loose-legged and straight cut, tapered stuff will make you look worse. For shirts, just wear white or cream short-sleeve dress shirts, and some miscellaneous T-shirts. Total fashion detox. Unless you have money to burn, I'd recommend you get your whole wardrobe thrifted. If you're patient, you'll be able to get a lot of high-quality clothing and have a nice wardrobe. For shoes just wear black leather shoes, they go with anything. I'd recommend derbys or boots, just make sure they're leather and not too shiny. Dress shoes will give you presence because they clack, so keep that in mind.

i get you it’s just that everyone is always wearing nike, north face and that so.. that’s just what i wear usually
i feel silly wearing anything remotely formal though.. :-( not to say it looks bad, it just feels like i’m playing dress up since i don’t look too mature
practically everything i wear is second-hand too, i hate buying stuff from stores

just wish we could go around wearing leaves or that we had fur like chimps so we wouldn’t have to worry:feelsbadman:

You definitely have social anxiety. When I was in HS I wore the most ridiculous shit, it was insane, everything was thrifted (still is, but I dress plainly and modestly now) and I would go to school one day wearing an aztec print western shirt with GIANT jeans and boots and then the next day I would wear just normal clothes. I also used to wear this hand-painted blue red grey and black nepalese shirt with hindu designs all over it with grey slacks. I just didn't care. I got class superlative for "best thrifter" actually and posed with this normie girl wearing a crop top for the yearbook.

It's just plain, modest clothing. No one will give you shit for it but you won't look like a slob in sweatpants.

I am autistic. I like the sound of them clicking and I have an abnormal gait so when I walk in them I'm incredibly loud, I wear the soles of shoes down so fast. Currently I wear leather anti-slip clogs (clogs sounds bad, they look like I'm wearing leather boots with pants covering the ankles) for work and everything because they look decent, and I don't want to wear loud shoes at work.
