Like studying anatomy now and it feels much easier for me to study these complex af connections then it was when i studied bullcrap subjects like psychology. My theory is my brain produces more dopamine on harder to understand stuff cause it takes it like a challenge, but easy stuff feels too dull ngl

Are you saying that psychology is an easy subject? :lul:

The theoretical aspect yes, to be a good psychologist is something completely different tho

You have to be a legit retard (with certifications) to read a psychology book and not understand it. thing is, even if you know something you don't necessarily know how to teach or digest it to the point where you can actually do something meaningful with it.
The problem isn't one of comprehension but how big the field is and how much you need to digest over decades to consider yourself somewhat competent in the field. Psychology is like a bottomless well that boasts more knowledge than anyone with a single lifetime can possess and even if you do manage to memorize and understand all that is to the field has to offer you will still need practical experience to actually be able to apply it on mind you unpredictable patients that may have conditions that even with all that you learned about psychological can't solve. It's a cycle of trial and error and never-ending memorization of old and new information that is being discovered daily.

I'm talking about the ability to understand whatever you try to learn, not to know every major theory out there. that's a time and motivation / lack of interest problem. give a normal guy a psychology book about whatever theory and he would understand it just fine.

Well it depends on what book you have given him and what it tackles not everything concerning psychology is water and cake to understand saying that is just ignoramus but even if he learned the information it will still have minimal use on actual patients. Why do you think doctors need years of learning multiple subjects before actually having a certificate? Because they need an actual base to rely on to treat patients with different conditions. The same can be applied to psychology but with much more diverse and even harder to treat conditions( in some cases untreatable) and we still even haven't gotten into the specialties and branches of psychology like psychiatry and the hundred school of thoughts that use different methods to approach a specific situation and with varying difficulty to comprehend. Some are easy sure but some jfl not easy.
