Anyone else had obsession with toy soldiers?

God just looking at this, it gives me that slight childhood feel again, nothing is better than the imaginative mind of a kid, used to play with this all the time and pretend wars and genocides on subhumans when i was little

I love toy soldiers, something about building a microcosm of a military fleet is so satisfying.

Sometimes I'll see something from my childhood (a toy, a photo, a location, something like that), and I'll feel some excitement, because I know there are emotions and associations with that memory. Yet, I often can't consciously remember exactly what the memory is, just that there is something there. It's like the memory just comes full stop, and I feel disappointed and frustrated. It is a disturbing and sad thing to feel. But overall, I would like to forget about my childhood, so it is not too much of a problem.

My advice to you is that when you have these memories, write down as many details as you could clearly remember about them and save that document. You will be grateful later. Every year, those memories will become a little foggier unless you preserve them somehow.
