Anyone else hate running into people that you once knew from highschool/work years ago?

When I see someone I went to high school/previous jobs with in public, I avoid them and walk the other way. I try to change direction if i see them in the distance and if I cant escape the situation, I try to make it seem like I didnt see them and would totally ignore them or not acknowledge there existence.
