Anyone else have a friend that visibly seethes when he sees your looking better?

I knew this dude from hs

He thinks he’s adhd/autistic really he’s just high cortisol neurotic

He’s a natural face mogger but 5’7”ish so he’s gotten some opportunities but too much of a mentalcel to capitalize

He legit has a bluepilled mentality somehow in 2025 despite being mid 20s

He’d fit well here tbh
Except for him, looks really aren’t the issue, he’s a slightly worse Tom cruise lookalike with worse skin, bad hairstyle

Anyway we see each every few months and whenever I’m looking good which thankfully is more and more

I can see a visible disdain and discomfort in him and when I talk about the gym cause of course I’m Nt so I just say it’s all “the gym” as to why I look different

I can just see a weird emotion in his eyes, like an anger almost

I probably should cut him loose but I’ve known him over a decade and he’s a genuinely good guy

Just is so insecure he doesn’t like to ppl succeed because it makes him feel worse

Maybe i just find it odd how he’s so able to “wear the mask” socially except in terms of me or others looking better

Maybe he knows it’s his one natural advantage and doesn’t want competition idk

Yep, it’s like something he excels in and when he sees someone getting close/surpassing that level it’s irritating.

If you only see him every few months then you don’t have to cut him loose. These are one of the worse types of people imo

I don’t like doing it cause he doesn’t have many friends

But like when we meet up there’s a weird competitive energy between us, maybe cause we met as teens or maybe cause I used to be more like him before SSRIs

My new friendships are with people who are generally happier in life and whatever envy they feel isn’t too deep cause they have enough pussy/money
