Have tried wearing shoe lifts for years now and every time I do I get terrible low back pain and knees. Tried wearing lower to the ground shoes and working way up but nothings worked. Any advice?

yes thats due to it altering your gait distributing the load completely unnaturally with a slope in your shoe this will happen everytime and be worse with each lift added,

this is why you must aim for as flat as possible of a foot to fraud properly, choose a shoe with a very large base boost and lots of toe room, then add lifts to the front and the back to have a flat foot while wearing them

having sloped heel lifts is a joke and just hurts your foot and legs and back and cannot be done long term and makes your gait different

knee pain from lifts is common sense
you direct the weigh on your knees from your soles when you raise your heel via lifts...
not sustainable really, you need to lift the feet all around, not just the heel. try platforms

Just get Elevator shoes or those silicone lift pads you can wear under your socks from Amazon. I recently bought them and they actually feel pretty good.
