I grew up on 4chan at 10 and never thought of getting a dozen surgeries. Although it is mostly his parents fault and whatever kind of doctor agreed to this. This site tends to promote the most dramatic forms of looksmaxing

While that can be useful I don't think anyone under 18 should consider and you need to do every softmaxxing thing first. But this isn't really looksmaxings fault just like its not 4chans fault someone becomes a massshooter. Plenty of people with fucked up childhoods that were on weird parts of the internet early on that don't do crazy shit like this

It's the combination of both, teenagers are very impressionable, whatever they think it's cool they'll do, if they don't have sane parents to say no or to repress even with a look they'll do shit.
