Anyone ever feel like they've been contacted by their ancestors?

Years ago I took shrooms and entered a bad trip where these Native Americans (I'm mestizo) entered my head and we were talking in some strange language. I can't remember too much but I know they wanted me to step up and partake in some sacrifice so I can show my devotion. I assumed they were my ancestors. Couple days ago I was trying to go to sleep when suddenly a native American man's face was traced into my thoughts, again I think this is an ancestor.

Does anyone have a similar experience?
