Anyone experienced a lung collapse ?

I had 2 consecutive lung collapses and a thoractomy to rectify the problem it was the most brutal gruesome horrifying pain i have ever felt my whole life still have ptsd to this day and extremely paranoid about having a collapse in my other lung this shit been draining my mind for a while and i wanted to vent cause i consider this place like a safe place where you can speak your mind even though we all know we're all kind of autistic and mentalcels to a point

Dude you have no idea if i didn't go to er that day i could have died from a tension pneumothorax at 24 i am not the same after that shit

They fucking ripped my chest open they "glued" my lung with a disgusting painful barbaric practice and i had 3 chest tubes the pain was 9/10 unbearable

The lung createds a bubble of air in its skin, that bubble make your lung collapse and u need to cut the bubble out . But u gotta before, add some tube in your ribs to try to drain the bubble without cutting it, but in my case it didnt work, so they raped my torax and cut it, then i had a drainer for the blood in my left lung for 2 days. Fun times

In the furst collapse i had the chest tube for 4 days and it was fucking hell 2nd collapse i had left antero thoractoctomy and pleurosis and 2 chest tubes sticking out of me i am still traumatized till this day shit fucked me up mentally
