Anyone explain to their parents about hypergamy ?

It’s coming to that age for me where the parents start knocking on your door as to why you have never brought a girl back or never been in a relationship.

How does one explain to them about modern day dating dynamics and the just be confident advice doesn’t work anymore ?

Obviously explaining hypergamy and the blackpill is futile , it’s too alien of a concept for them , is there a way of dumbing down the concept ?
